Presenting the Winners of the 2019 #LiveFullRange Lifestyle & Nutrition Challenge!
We just wrapped up our 21-day, habits-based lifestyle and nutrition challenge, and we want to extend a big congratulations to all that took part! As we see over and over again, the strongest part of Full Range is the community that all of you have helped to build, and this challenge displayed that through the ongoing support and kindness shown by everyone involved.
For those that aren’t aware, the challenge was (relatively) straightforward. For 21 days, we committed to tracking certain activities, and assigned scores to whether or not a task was completed. It looked like this:
- Eat lots of REAL FOOD (Meat, Vegetables, Nuts, Seeds, Fruits, Spices), and avoid sugar, processed grains, unhealthy fats, [-1 point] beans/legumes, and most dairy. Avoid alcohol [-1]
- Drink water! Half of your BW in ounces (180lb = 90oz) [+1]
- Train regularly using functional movements at varying intensities (lift, carry, push, pull, run, and jump). [+1]
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night [+1]
- Spend at least 15 minutes in the sun [+1]
The goal of the challenge was not only to encourage healthy lifestyle habits, but to help people recognize and better understand their normal, day-to-day routines, and how small changes, implemented over and over again, can make a huge difference in how we feel, move, and look.
While we are proud of everyone that took part and put themselves out there (several bonus challenges asked people to reveal some of their deepest motivations for health and fitness), this WAS a scored event, so here are your winners!
