Olympic Weightlifting is Back! 8-Week Cycle Starts March 13th!
Full Range is excited to announce that we will be bringing back our Olympic Weightlifting classes with Coach Brayn starting Sunday, March 13th. Along with this, we will be providing an 8-week programming cycle designed to help improve your skill, speed, and overall strength in the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk. Reserve a spot via the link here
How will it work?
Starting March 13th, we will provide 3 workouts per week that focus on the Olympic Lifts, along with skill-based drills and accessory work. Two of these workouts (Days 1 and 3) will be completed in our Olympic Weightlifting classes on Sundays at 11am, and Thursdays at 5:30pm. The other day (Day 2), is optional, and can be completed on your own during Open Gym.
The goal of this cycle is to progress in skill and strength over the course of the 8 weeks, then aiming to hit new PRs at the end of the cycle.
What if I can’t make class?
The workouts can be completed on your own if you cannot make it to class, but we HIGHLY recommend attending the coached sessions with Brayn, as this will help immensely in terms of improving your movement.
Can I still take regular classes?
Our Olympic Lifting program is designed to run alongside our Fitness/Performance programming, so there is no need to change things up too much. However, we would recommend focusing on Days 1 and 3 each week, and having them be your only session of the day. Of course, if you feel that the extra volume is wearing on you, plan out an additional rest day in the week.
Can I jump in mid-cycle?
Yes! Any work is better than no work, and we will help you figure out how to progress even if you cannot start right on the 13th.
